Description:

The badger is a burrowing mammal. It has a black and white stripped face. The badger range in size from 33-79cm long plus a short tail.

Habitat:

They live in tropical forest, plains, woodlands, mountains and prairies in Asia, europpe and North America.

 

Diet:

The badgers are omnivores, eating both animals and plants.

They eat rodents, frogs, snakes, small mammals worms, insects, fruit and roots.

 

Interesting Facts:

Their enemies include people, coyotes and dogs. The badger has a life span of 11-13 years in captivity. They are nocturnal animals.
